I still remember during my 1st baked cake- Raisin butter cake, my good frenz sent me a link and requested me to try to bake the cake for her. This task always on my mind but i just managed to watch the link given last week. Ohhhh, it was a cake named Honeycomb cake or you may call it "Kuih Sarang Semut".
The ingredients are simple to get. So, it is my experiment theme for today.
Hypothesis (based on Jo's Deli Bakery): The cake should be chewy or bouncy, resemble tunnels extend from the base to 2/3 height of the cake.
Again, I halved my ingredients from the original recipe as I have no idea at all of the MAGIC of this cake.
Please have a look on my effort, does it consider a success or fail? I did try to search some Honeycomb cake pictures online but mine one like a bit vary from those cake. Try to search online on image of Honeycomb cake and compare with mine, you shall know what I am talking about. Anyway, I have to admit that the taste is quite awesome and the texture is indeed chewy and bouncy. I guess I got 50% success gua....(on the taste larrrrr)
To my Number-2: "if you are not satisfy with this, let me know and i will do again for you..."
Not having quality sleep these few days, gonna take a nap first.
Time flies fast...tomorrow is Friday again....
