布朗尼问:“你认得我吗?”

最近,布朗尼发现自己胖了。
布朗尼于是决定到《烘烤炉》瘦身中心去减肥。
瘦身后,布朗尼照了照镜子,
“不错不错,是瘦了。但好像胖的时候好看些。”
突然,他尖叫。。。。
他竟然地中海秃头。。。只剩两侧稀少的头发*。。。。

情迷此家[84]的弹弓面

近一个月以来,我的星期天早餐都在吃山打根有名的弹弓面.而且....指定是这间[84]而已哦. 难得的是,我的他也钟意这间.
是一道很容易在山打根找到的食物, 吃过好几间,惟独钟情于[84].
没有华丽的店面布置,也没有浪漫的气氛,[84]只是一间由海上木屋改建的小食馆. 他家的面不能说非常好吃,却有一种温暖的味道.吃得饱来又有满足感.
在山打根,面的配搭很多元化.但我的面里永远只会有炸肉,皮蛋饺和鱼付. 这样专一的口味却注定每次都被我的他笑. 他总会游说我试其他的,我就是不要.很固执吧,这就是我!
他呢,就围绕在鱼片米粉与laksa粉面.

有点toi toi的面配上炸肉,皮蛋饺和鱼付,赞!

皱皮的清水蛋糕

他不喜欢昨天的红箩卜蛋糕, 人又不舒服,晚餐准备好后, 就快手快脚的准备这个"清水蛋糕"作为明日早餐.
不知道它为何被称为"清水蛋糕". 知道的请好心留言告知.谢咯~~

准备分蛋时发生的小插曲(共4粒):
第1粒-把蛋白与蛋黄分开时,里头的蛋黄竟然散了.(应该是自己笨手吧)
第2粒-我的天!又散了.我已经很小心了....不行,决定接下来的两粒就拿我那宝贵的kampung蛋来用.
第3与第4粒-轻轻松松就把蛋黄分开了.
所以,我买回来的鸡蛋是不新鲜的咯! 还是那是假鸡蛋?
做着做着,他就放工回来了.一进厨房的他竟然问:"你是不是拿我的kampung蛋来做你的蛋糕?"
他平时都不管这些的....难道他与蛋心灵相通?

蛋糕好了.但是,一从烘炉拿出来,蓬蓬的蛋糕立刻就缩水了.其速度快到我没来得拿相机拍下那漂亮的那一瞬间.
我会再重试这个蛋糕,因为他一口气吃了两个.
忘了说,食谱来自苏联妈妈.

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Today is a super HOT day.

Today is a NO-fridge day.

OMG!! Then how to make cheese cake? But no matter how, I stubbornly decided to make use of my balanced cream cheese. My brain bulbing to remind me of making carrot cake. I love to eat the carrot cake at Secret Recipe. But no more when i step into the land of Sabah.

Ok, let's get started......

During halfway of my baking journey, my HIM came back for lunch. He asked me, "Do you smell some sort of weird odour?" "Nope" I answered. After searching the "odour" he mentioned, I realised it is "CINNAMON". He can't stand of cinnamon smell and claimed that this smell stucked his nose.
Cham! I am worry he is not going to taste the cake later.

After 40 minutes,the cake is ready to serve with cream cheese frosting.


  I like the taste but the cream cheese frosting is too sweet for me and HIM also. I wonder why the recipe could be so sweet (I had reduced 20% sugar on making he frosting). But the cake itself really taste nice.

He even commented that my carrot cake appearance looks ugly. Hahaha! Willing or unwilling, I had to accept.

全麦土司挑战记

是不是在想这一个星期以来我都在四面是墙的屋子里长蘑菇?
的确是没有网络,但不代表我无所事事啊....
只是做了一个土司,之后就开始生病之旅....(不知是不是麻油醉鸡惹的祸)...再不痊愈,我就得到医生那报到...

上一次的土司变成餐包,于是决定再来一次....这次选用了星厨房的食谱来试.
成品很满意...好健康,好美味.....几天的早餐都靠它了.但我的他呱呱叫的说"每天吃一样的东西闷叻,很想念美式早餐"....已经明示我了.可要懂得做人咯.

因为没有土司模,卖相仍有待改进


奇怪,切的时候就变这样了.



唯一的小餐包.第一个进我的肚子. ^_^

Specially dedicate to My Number-2,Ly

I still remember during my 1st baked cake- Raisin butter cake, my good frenz sent me a link and requested me to try to bake the cake for her. This task always on my mind but i just managed to watch the link given last week. Ohhhh, it was a cake named Honeycomb cake or you may call it "Kuih Sarang Semut".

The ingredients are simple to get. So, it is my experiment theme for today.

Hypothesis (based on Jo's Deli Bakery): The cake should be chewy or bouncy, resemble tunnels extend from the base to 2/3 height of the cake.

Again, I halved my ingredients from the original recipe as I have no idea at all of the MAGIC of this cake.

Please have a look on my effort, does it consider a success or fail? I did try to search some Honeycomb cake pictures online but mine one like a bit vary from those cake. Try to search online on image of Honeycomb cake and compare with mine, you shall know what I am talking about. Anyway, I have to admit that the taste is quite awesome and the texture is indeed chewy and bouncy. I guess I got 50% success gua....(on the taste larrrrr)

To my Number-2: "if you are not satisfy with this, let me know and i will do again for you..."


Not having quality sleep these few days, gonna take a nap first.
Time flies fast...tomorrow is Friday again....

Muffin story "When Healthy Blueberry meets Greedy Choco"

Chocolate has been in my mind recently....long time never have a good chocolate....miss my Godiva....
Decided! I am gonna to pamper myself with chocolate confectionery today. But, heart whispered me: "Come on, you are not worrying fat ah?" "No! I do!"

So, early in the morning,engine started searching for a less calorie to chocolate sweetie recipe. I get IT!! The original recipe claimed that it is a fat-free yet moist and chocolatey chocolate muffin. But I did moderate modification based on my available ingredients. Original recipe makes 12 muffins but I halved the ingredients as my HIM does not favor in chocolate sweetie.
But, I am just too greedy to squeeze 6 muffins to become 5 muffins serving size and it turned up to be like below:

This is the result of greediness

Texture [ Exterior: crispy
interior: Soft, a bit dry, contains little choco chips lava]

But I had ruined the interior texture as I increased my baking time (I guess the lava should be more) . Nevertheless, i finished TWO at a time. ~~HAHA~~

Story not yet finished....

I made blueberry oat muffin for my HIM, otherwise he will complain for my bias.

Baking is not the most tiring matter, waiting to upload a photo one by one to blog made me feel lagi BO LAT....calculate by yourself with a photo upload time at 30minutes averagely. See how many photoes have I uploaded?

我的生活部曲:自供自给

已经一年多不在城市生活了.
回想在KL工作的那几年,很多时候工作到"早晨看不见太阳,晚上只看见月亮".陪伴我的就是traffic jam. 这样的一个我,饮食理所当然在外面解决@打包咯.KL apa pun ada....asal ada ini-$$$.

来到比家乡还kampung的沙巴一个小小地方,一开始真的不习惯. 附近没有超市,没有餐馆,更别说娱乐场所咯. 我说的是我住处哦.沙巴也是有城市小镇的.所以,沙巴人不是住在树上的.哈哈!让你惊讶的是这里的楼价都不亚于KL/PG的哦!

因为购物真的不太方便再加上外面的东西越来越多"添加物"....我们开始种菜,养鸡.但土质不佳,菜只成功一次.

现在,因为爱上烘焙,干脆自己做面包,蛋糕...不光顾外面的面包,糕点了.味道或许没有外面的那么好,但多了一份温馨感.

我家的鸡终于破'零'蛋咯

还记得去年约九月份,养了第二批小鸡.15只小鸡到至今仅剩的两只肥老鸡,老公几乎每天都问我:"鸡下蛋了没?" 我还笑着说:"怎么可能?"(全部的肉鸡看起来都一样,都不知道如何分雌雄).
就在2011年3月31日....奇迹出现了....老公很兴奋的在外面叫:"有蛋了!" 不一会儿,手里拿着两粒鸡蛋的他终于进家门了.  终于有蛋可寻了,虽然是迷你蛋(比gradeC还小),真的有说不出的开心耶…隔天下午迫不及待的将蛋煎来吃,感觉特别genki.其橙彤彤的蛋黄让我忆起去年在日本品尝过的温泉蛋….记忆犹新,只是日本的其风采是否依旧?

从今以后,每天都有新鲜蛋吃了. ...呵呵呵

生活不可少的优格

每个周末几乎非买不可的食品之一就是优格.,这里...似乎...优格难求”.超市寥寥可数.见过没有优格,没有牛奶的冷藏部吗?我就见过.货源永远不充足.而且,价钱好贵.此时就会很想念JJ 超市,应有尽有.
星期四的下午,打开冰箱一看,竟然有一杯优格快要过期了.突发奇想,不如拿来做燕菜看看吧! 就这样,我的奇异果优格燕菜诞生了!

但是hor….优格始终还是单吃,配沙拉或加入烘焙比较适合.可怜的燕菜,看来你的宿命就在黑漆漆的垃圾桶里了….

海绵蛋糕,您总算争气啊!

左算算,右想想,我这个烘培新手也玩烘培一个月了。有那么久眯?
管他的呢,我开心就好。每次想大显身手,到头来都变大显"生"手。。。谁叫我还是新角色!
前几天,兴致勃勃的我又要烘焙了。翻翻笔记,hmmmn。。。就再试一试重做曾经被取笑的绿茶海绵蛋糕吧!
蛋糕,这次就来个原味的就好。我家那位似乎不太suka那股绿茶味。
厨房,我来了。
这次参考Carol老师的食谱,希望会成功。
Pok pok pok....king king kiang kiang...这些都不是我最期待的声音。。。「叮」,对了,就是这个声音。我的蛋糕好了。。。。
