情迷此家[84]的弹弓面

近一个月以来,我的星期天早餐都在吃山打根有名的弹弓面.而且....指定是这间[84]而已哦. 难得的是,我的他也钟意这间.
是一道很容易在山打根找到的食物, 吃过好几间,惟独钟情于[84].
没有华丽的店面布置,也没有浪漫的气氛,[84]只是一间由海上木屋改建的小食馆. 他家的面不能说非常好吃,却有一种温暖的味道.吃得饱来又有满足感.
在山打根,面的配搭很多元化.但我的面里永远只会有炸肉,皮蛋饺和鱼付. 这样专一的口味却注定每次都被我的他笑. 他总会游说我试其他的,我就是不要.很固执吧,这就是我!
他呢,就围绕在鱼片米粉与laksa粉面.

有点toi toi的面配上炸肉,皮蛋饺和鱼付,赞!

皱皮的清水蛋糕

他不喜欢昨天的红箩卜蛋糕, 人又不舒服,晚餐准备好后, 就快手快脚的准备这个"清水蛋糕"作为明日早餐.
不知道它为何被称为"清水蛋糕". 知道的请好心留言告知.谢咯~~

准备分蛋时发生的小插曲(共4粒):
第1粒-把蛋白与蛋黄分开时,里头的蛋黄竟然散了.(应该是自己笨手吧)
第2粒-我的天!又散了.我已经很小心了....不行,决定接下来的两粒就拿我那宝贵的kampung蛋来用.
第3与第4粒-轻轻松松就把蛋黄分开了.
所以,我买回来的鸡蛋是不新鲜的咯! 还是那是假鸡蛋?
做着做着,他就放工回来了.一进厨房的他竟然问:"你是不是拿我的kampung蛋来做你的蛋糕?"
他平时都不管这些的....难道他与蛋心灵相通?

蛋糕好了.但是,一从烘炉拿出来,蓬蓬的蛋糕立刻就缩水了.其速度快到我没来得拿相机拍下那漂亮的那一瞬间.
我会再重试这个蛋糕,因为他一口气吃了两个.

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Today is a super HOT day.

Today is a NO-fridge day.

OMG!! Then how to make cheese cake? But no matter how, I stubbornly decided to make use of my balanced cream cheese. My brain bulbing to remind me of making carrot cake. I love to eat the carrot cake at Secret Recipe. But no more when i step into the land of Sabah.

Ok, let's get started......

During halfway of my baking journey, my HIM came back for lunch. He asked me, "Do you smell some sort of weird odour?" "Nope" I answered. After searching the "odour" he mentioned, I realised it is "CINNAMON". He can't stand of cinnamon smell and claimed that this smell stucked his nose.
Cham! I am worry he is not going to taste the cake later.

After 40 minutes,the cake is ready to serve with cream cheese frosting.


  I like the taste but the cream cheese frosting is too sweet for me and HIM also. I wonder why the recipe could be so sweet (I had reduced 20% sugar on making he frosting). But the cake itself really taste nice.

He even commented that my carrot cake appearance looks ugly. Hahaha! Willing or unwilling, I had to accept.
